Be Part of Shaping Children’s Lives for Good
Know you’ve made a difference, every day.
(Plus, unlimited smiles!)
If you’re like us, you adore kids. They’re funny, silly, snuggly, and curious. They’re gobbling up information about the world all day long: how things work, how to make friends, how to play. As teachers and caregivers, we get to share those pivotal childhood moments. It’s a big responsibility and a beautiful privilege.
At Kids Junction, we partner with families to bring out the best in each child. We know kids grow and learn best when they feel safe, valued and special.
Who we are at Kids Junction
We are a family-run child care and preschool. That means Kids Junction is like an extension of our own family. From the youngest baby on site to the most senior staff member, we treat each other the way we’d like to be treated: as valuable, creative individuals.
We began with a vision in 2004 for a creative preschool learning center that also instilled positive Christian character into children’s lives. Now, we provide care for infants, toddlers, preschool, private 4K, after school for children 5-12 years, and even summer camps for children going into kindergarten through age 14.
Our campus is the largest in the area (licensed for almost 400 kids), with creatively themed classrooms and indoor and outdoor playgrounds. (And we probably have the best meals, too. Our chefs are fantastic.)
But the resource we’re most proud of is our people! Our staff are some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll meet–and we make sure they know it!
We embody our values
We all work together to build children’s minds, bodies and Christian character–in partnership with families–to bring out the best in each child.
As a Christian daycare, we center our decisions on Christian values of love, respect, honor, integrity, kindness and grace. These values direct the way we treat each other and the way we interact with the children entrusted to us. Teachers can feel free to talk about their faith in a way that also respects the parental role in guiding their children.
Encouraging and showing appreciation and honor toward each other is a big part of how we operate. Our “Sunshine Committee” is responsible for celebrations. We place a high value on showing respect for each other, listening to our staff needs, and communicating with integrity.
How We’re Different
Being a family-run business has so many perks! Our leadership team knows every one of our staff by name. Being on-site and involved in the daily operations of Kids Junction means we listen to our teachers and consider their requests and needs for supplies, decorating, celebrating, and teaching. We’re able to invest and direct funds into the program, which gives teachers more control over many aspects of their classroom and daily operations.
Additionally, we’re always happy to pray with our staff when requested, to offer spiritual and emotional support when we can.
Balancing work and life at home is important to all of us. We offer flexible scheduling and will work with our staff to make sure they have time for their own families, too.
Room for Growth
At Kids Junction, there’s a lot of opportunity for growth and flexibility. Because we’re all under one (big!) roof, our staff and teachers can move around to different classrooms and positions. Our goal is for all our staff to work in the role that best suits their abilities, interests, and career plans.
Enough About Us…. How About You?
You’re passionate about early childhood.
The ideal team member at Kids Junction is someone who loves kids and understands the valuable role you play in both their lives and their family’s.
You speak “kid-ese” and can communicate well with their parents.
We get it — sometimes it’s just easier to talk to or relate with kids. But as partners with our families, it’s important we can communicate well with their parents just as clearly and kindly.
You enjoy and respect other cultures and backgrounds.
Our families are multicultural. We are aware of and celebrate our differences with sensitivity, respect, and kindness.
You work well with your team.
You’re a good team player who is willing to be flexible when needed. You have compassion and respect for your fellow staff.
You have experience and / or education.
We value experience as much as we value a degree. We know there are practical things you learn in your classroom, on the playground, and in the home that just can’t be taught in a traditional setting. At the same time, we value the years of research and study that goes into getting a degree. What’s important to us now is that you’re willing to keep learning and growing so you can invest in the lives of children.
