Make a difference after school! We’re looking for fun-loving, dynamic people to join our school age team as After School Teachers. **Openings are immediate**

Our popular after school program provides a safe, fun, school-age friendly environment for children in the Madison area during non-school hours. This safe and fun environment exists because of our great after school team who make afternoons matter! Learn more about our program here.

Hours for this position are generally 1:00 – 5:45 pm Mondays and 2:45 – 5:45 pm Tuesday through Friday. More hours are available for those interested in being an after-school bus driver. Scheduling during the school year is part-time and flexible. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone majoring in education or child-related fields!

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Help set up and prepare after school zones for the arrival of children
  • Safely escort & welcome children off buses into our building
  • Help serve after school snacks
  • Supervise and engage with children during activities, which include: Station time, free play, gym/outdoor time, projects, and more!
  • Follow and lead predetermined activities and schedules, with the opportunity to add your own ideas and flare, of course!
  • Work as a team to keep the after school zones looking great
  • Ensure children are checked out properly as they are picked up
  • Interact with parents and/or guardians to build and maintain relationships

We’re Looking for Team Members Who:

  • Have a desire to make a difference in children’s lives
  • Have experience working with school-age children (ages 5-14)
  • Have the ability to foster teamwork and thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Are skilled in remaining composed and effective in challenging situations
  • Are currently majoring in education or other child-related fields –preferred
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
